Biography
 Dr. Gorden T. McMurry hails from Kentucky, but journeyed all the way to the West coast to train with some of the world's most distinguished surgeons before returning home. After residency, he acquired advanced fellowship training at the world famous House Ear Institute in Los Angeles. Many of the most important advances in hearing and balance have come from the House Institute. While heavily trained in ear surgery, Dr. McMurry has maintained broad expertise in other areas such as cystic fibrosis. An accomplished singer, he also has special interests in voice disorders. A truly multitalented individual, he has put his artistic talent to use and has created some outstanding oil paintings. Examples of his work decorate the Commonwealth office.
